Our supporters are deeply committed people. They work hard for every contribution they give. We do not have very wealthy donors; every donation represents effort, sacrifice, and dedication. The beautiful story of Malachy from Sweden and Novak from Slovenia is a powerful symbol of the effort behind every gift we receive.
Malachy and Novak share a strong desire to contribute positively to society. From the moment they learned about Baan Unrak, they decided to support us. As teachers, they inspired their students at a well-established international school Tsinglanin in China, motivating both students and parents to sponsor their journey to Sangklaburi.
Their commitment was not symbolic — it was physical and demanding. They cycled from Bangkok to Sangklaburi, a distance of approximately 380 kilometers. The most challenging stretch was the final climb through the steep Sangklaburi mountains. They faced it in the middle of the day, under the intense heat of the sun at its peak.
We were beyond excited. It was an enormous achievement, and they did it all for our sake. The only thing we could do in return was to welcome them with all our hearts.

For three days, the children prepared. They created posters to place along the road leading to our home.
They made thank-you cards and painted beautiful images of multicultural Sangklaburi. After finishing their homework each evening, they continued painting late into the night. Every poster was unique and filled with care.
When Malachy and Novak finally entered our compound, they passed between two lines of children waving small flags with the Baan Unrak and PCF logos. The excitement was overwhelming — cheers and joyful screams filled the air.

Near the reception hall, they were welcomed with flowers.
and a special Muay Thai dance performed by a group of our boys and girls. Inspired by the spirit of martial arts, the children practiced intensely in the days before the visit. As they performed, they embodied strength, focus, and discipline. We all felt energized by the same spirit of vitality and courage.
There were speeches, words of gratitude, and shared appreciation. Soon it was time for the children’s meal, and our guests were able to enjoy a taste of our vegetarian food.
Our guests were especially impressed by Baleoo, one of our teenage leaders responsible for physical training. They admired his discipline and dedication. Now Malachy and Baleoo are communicating about strengthening the physical education program at Baan Unrak — focusing on training, sports, and developing the children’s inner spirit of endurance and determination.
After dinner, the children presented a flash mob performance, followed by our special acrobatic yoga show. It was performed impeccably, demonstrating their discipline, teamwork, and commitment.
Finally, we expressed our deep thanks to Malachy, Novak, and their school Tsinglan, presenting certificates of appreciation and singing the Baan Unrak thank-you song.
Discipline and courage are essential qualities for moving forward in life with vitality and strength. These are the gifts that we received from Malachy and Novak.
Thank you, Malachy, Novak, and DJ from PCF. Your journey was more than a physical challenge — it was a message of commitment, solidarity, and heart.
