Holiday Adventures for Our Teenagers. A well deserved Treat ( Part 1)

A group of our 20 teenagers had a wonderful holiday experience together with their vocational trainers, Kushuma and Salsabeel. These young people are studying in different educational programs. They are growing up and need to learn a profession while gaining real-life experience — learning how to socialize, work, and connect with the public.

The first group consisted of children from the market selling, sewing, and weaving programs. They had worked very hard and made many sacrifices, so it was only natural that they deserved some time to relax. During the school holidays, their trainer, Kushuma, prepared a beautiful program for them.

She took them to Thong Pha Phum and Sai Yok, where the enthusiastic team visited the waterfall and the Vajiralongkorn Dam. They enjoyed walking in nature, cycling along the dam, and having a lovely picnic. The children were so happy to be outside of Sangklaburi — something they never imagined possible since they are not Thai citizens. This trip allowed them to experience the wider world, expand their vision, and plant dreams in their hearts.

Dreams are important because once they take root in the mind, and if we dare to dream, they can surely become reality.

The second group came from our bakery/Restornt program. These children already had travel documents and some experience from previous trips, so this time we brought them even farther to explore more of the world.

They went to Kanchanaburi for a picnic, visited cafés to observe how others operate compared to our own bakery café, explored a beautiful garden, had a swimming party, and enjoyed browsing the night market, where they found many interesting second-hand treasures.

After Kanchanaburi, they continued to Thong Pha Phum, where they experienced their wildest dream — driving off-road vehicles through the mountains and jungle. These vehicles did not require a license, so it was an exciting and safe adventure for them. They drove through uneven terrain until dusk, ending the day with a campfire.

It was refreshing and full of joy — a chance for them to taste freedom and adventure.

This whole experience was sponsored by the One World Foundation, our very dear supporters. The children returned home full of spirit, energy, and renewed creativity — ready to awaken their inner leadership and continue growing.
