Our University Students: Always Part of the Baan Unrak Family

At Baan Unrak, growing up means eventually stepping out into the world. When our children are ready to continue their studies at university, they leave the children’s home to begin a new chapter, building their own path in a new environment they have chosen for themselves.

Even as they step into new places and meet new people, one thing never changes: they always have a home to return to, Baan Unrak.

Though they may not be able to join daily activities with the younger children as often as before, the bond remains strong. During school breaks and long holidays, many of them come back.

They return not just to visit, but because they are still part of this family, and this home will always welcome them with open arms.

We would love to introduce a few of them to you:

Rochana

Rochana is currently studying for a Bachelor's degree in Counseling Psychology in Bangkok. During school breaks,

she often helps care for children who travel to join events and activities in Bangkok. When she returns home, she continues to support daily life at Baan Unrak, helping care for the younger children and assisting with various tasks.

She is also skilled in Thai–English translation, and often helps bridge communication when needed. Gentle and kind, Rochana is like a big sister to everyone, and is deeply loved and respected by the children.

Vijai

Vijai is studying Tourism and Hospitality Management in Bangkok. He has strong leadership skills and frequently returns to volunteer and join activities with the children.

He enjoys sports and recreational activities, often leading games and encouraging everyone to participate during holidays.

He sometimes also helps as a translator. Full of energy and a love for service, Vijai brings joy and excitement wherever he goes, and the children always look forward to spending time with him.

Praipana

Praipana is studying Performing Arts in Digital Communication in Bangkok. She has loved singing since she was young and continues to share her talent with the Baan Unrak community.

She helps collect and arrange songs for performances and often sings at events, both at Baan Unrak and outside. Like Rochana, she also helps care for children when they travel to Bangkok.

When she comes home, she participates in activities and provides support wherever help is needed. Bright, kind, and cheerful, she brings warmth and happiness to everyone around her.

Kirana

Kirana is studying Management Science and International Business in Nakhon Pathom. When she returns home, she often helps Kushuma in the sewing room, as well as in the bakery. She also supports childcare whenever needed.

Though quiet, Kirana has a gentle and joyful presence. She is always kind to the children and ready to help others, making her a steady and caring member of the family.

Beyond these students, there are many others studying at universities and vocational colleges who return whenever they can. They continue to give back, helping with activities, supporting daily work, and offering their time with a spirit of service.

They may have stepped into the wider world, but their hearts remain connected to the place that raised them.
