It was like a dream come true!
On 28 February 2019, a delegation from Baan Unrak was at the Japanese embassy to sign an agreement with the ambassador, His Excellency Shiro SADOSHIMA. The ambassador received us at his studio where we had a cordial conversation that culminated with the signing of a grand contract for the purchase of much needed safe transportation of our children at Baan Unrak.
Under the Japanese program GGP (Grant Assistance for Grassroots and Human Security Projects), the ambassador has kindly agreed to fully fund the purchase of a brand-new School Bus for the children use. We are deeply grateful for the kind consideration of His Excellency, and for the generosity of the Japanese people, for this very important gift of transportation and safety for the children of Baan Unrak.
