Amazing Days at the All Green Learning Center – Learning, Nature, and Inspiration

In May 2025, we were delighted to be invited to a camp at the All Green Learning Center (AGLC) in Nakhon Ratchasima. It was a wonderful experience, full of learning, new friendships and a deep connection with nature.

Every opportunity to learn is a gift we deeply cherish—not only for our children but also for our staff. We believe learning should never stop. That’s why we brought along not just the children, but also key Baan Unrak team members representing various vocational activities. While children may forget as their interests shift, our staff came with a clear intent to gain knowledge and apply it back home, ensuring it becomes a lasting treasure for our community.

During the camp, we had days filled with activities, knowledge, and joy. We want to express our love and gratitude to the entire AGLC team, who welcomed us with so much care and attention.

One of the most memorable moments was the solar energy workshop. We learned about how solar panels are installed and how they work — something incredibly important for our future and the planet’s. Understanding how we can use sunlight to generate electricity was a real lesson in sustainability!

We also took part in a workshop on rainwater collection and how to build filters to make it usable. This was especially valuable for us, as in Baan Unrak we sometimes struggle with water access. Learning that there are simple and effective solutions gives us hope and motivation to bring this knowledge to our community.

There was also planting and gardening, which we absolutely love! Getting our hands in the soil, learning how to grow food, and appreciating the value of every single leaf brings us closer to nature and teaches us patience and care.

And to complete this beautiful connection with nature, we enjoyed a refreshing waterfall bath. It was a moment full of joy and freedom!

Another unforgettable experience was visiting the Thai Denmark dairy factory. We saw the entire process — from milking the cows (yes, we got to watch and even try it ourselves!) to processing, packaging, and distributing the products.

And we even had a “cowboy challenge,” where we got to ride horses — such an amazing adventure! 😄

We are very grateful to have learned many healthy habits. We formed teams to cook and keep the space clean and organized. We learned many recipes, such as detox smoothies, bamboo sticky rice, and other dishes that inspired us to explore healthy and creative cooking. It was a great opportunity to practice teamwork, organization, and community life — something that is already part of our daily lives at Baan Unrak and that we believe is essential for the future. When we teach children to share and work together, we are planting the seeds for a better future for everyone.

On our way back, we even had the chance to visit a National Park, with breathtaking landscapes. We took lots of beautiful photos and returned home renewed!

These were truly unforgettable days that we’ll carry in our hearts with great affection. We came back full of energy, new knowledge, and a strong desire to share everything we’ve learned. We believe experiences like this show our potential and remind us how important it is to keep encouraging children to explore, learn, and grow.
